Borage, also known as a starflower, is an annual herb in the flowering plant family Boraginaceae. It is native to the Mediterranean region and has naturalized in many other locales.The plant is commercially cultivated for borage seed oil extracted from its seeds and as a nutritionally dense superfood. Borage micro greens are uniquely textured with micro hairs on its surface. Young leaves with a unique taste are an intriguing addition to different dishes.
